PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Not all schools are the same. As a Principal and also a parent, I always try to bear in mind what is important to children and to parents.
FOUNDING PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
With an extremely heavy heart we share with MLIS community the departure of our beloved teacher Mrs. Syeda Hosne Ara Kabir who breathed her last today at 12:25 pm in Square Hospital. She was 71 years old. Her indomitable, fighting spirit played an instrumental role throughout her battle with prolonged illness. Mrs. Kabir is an iconic figure for many MLIS alumni who fondly remember her Bangla classes.
Mrs. Kabir joined Maple Leaf International School in January 1983 as a Bangla Teacher in the Senior Section and retired from her position as a veteran Senior Bangla Teacher in March 2022.
Mrs. Kabir was a fun loving, spirited and lively individual who played a vibrant role not only as a teacher but also as a supportive senior colleague. She was always there to encourage and enjoy school events and provide much positive feedback for improvement. A true guide and mentor!
Mrs. Kabir is survived by three sons, husband, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, colleagues, and innumerable students.
Our dearest Kabir Miss, you will be dearly missed by all students, teachers, colleagues, staff and management here at MLIS in the years to come.
** You can pay your last respects to Mrs. Kabir at her residence today between 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. House 60, Road 9A, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
