PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Maple Leaf International School (MLIS) has played a vital pioneering role in the English Medium education sector of Bangladesh over the years. Today, carrying forward its legacy, MLIS has an array of academic and extra-curricular opportunities and facilities to offer its student community.

MLIS our students come from diverse backgrounds, strengths, characters and passions and this in turn adds richness as well as dimension to our school community. MLIS values a rounded education, both within and beyond the classroom. It is our mission to discover, encourage and nurture the full potential of our learners and not simply their academic performance.

Every year our students achieve excellent results in their IGCSE and International Advanced Level  Examinations. To support their progression, we assist students to enter some of the most competitive universities in this country and overseas. As a consequence, our alumni, engaged in a variety of professions, are working all around the world.

Please be assured that the MLIS faculty, staff and I myself always try to bear in mind what is important for our learners. We are here to help both learners and their parents in any way possible to nurture well-rounded global citizens.

Wishing you all the best, I welcome you to MLIS.

FOUNDING PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Since 1972, Maple Leaf International School embarked on a mission which is finally nearing completion. Since its inception Maple Leaf’s main aim was to prepare students to face the most rigorous higher educational standards at leading institutions throughout the world and at the same time enhance their intellectual growth in order to create highly motivated individuals who would be able to make their places in the global spectrum.

We are proud to say that so far we have managed to uphold our vision as well as mission. Over the years we have endeavoured to promote both the academic and the value educations amongst our students so that they in turn will be responsible citizens for bringing about the necessary social transformation through discipline, co-operation and social awareness. Our students are also aware of the cultural diversities prevalent in this world and know that they must be committed to address the global, social, economical and environmental issues that are facing them.
